Time for some shameless self-promotion. I have been running my online Clinical Biomechanics Boot Camp since last year (you can enrol and start it at any time). It has been very popular and its kept me busy. Now, if I was not busy enough I have launched another course in the same format on Running Shoes (more here).
Here is a promo video on it:
All the content is listed here: https://podiatrycpdacademy.com/running-shoes-guru/ and there is over 60 hours of it!
Please consider signing up. It officially launches on 4 September, so you can get a 20% discount using the code PRELAUNCH at check out if you enrol before the 4th.
…and …
As always, I go where the evidence takes me until convinced otherwise …. and that underpins this course…
How does your course compare to the gait guys shoe fit course?
Totally different
Hi Craig,
Do you know about any research matching runner’s weight and best shoe type? I could only find this study of last year by the University of South Australia: http://www.unisa.edu.au/Media-Centre/Releases/2017-Media-Releases/Heavy-runners-risk-injury-in-lightweight-running-shoes/#.WlUB8FQ-cXr
I always see brands/bloggers advising runners based on their weight and I would be like to know if there’s any evidence behind it.
Thanks,
Kevin
Hi Kevin – I pretty sure there isn’t any other than that one.
